“At least 200 Palestinians, including women and children, have been killed in an Israeli aerial bombardment on Hamas security installations. Some of the Israeli missiles struck in densely populated areas as children were leaving school, and women rushed into the streets frantically looking for their children. Israeli military officials said more than 100 tons of bombs were dropped on Gaza by mid-afternoon.
Ehud Barak, the Israeli defense minister, said that the operation would not be short. “The operation will go on and be intensified as long as necessary," he said on Saturday. An Israeli military spokesman added that any "Hamas target is a target”. Salam Fayyad, the Palestinian prime minister, condemned the attack and demanded an immediate cessation.
Hours after the Israeli assault, Gaza fighters fired home-made rockets into southern Israel, heeding calls by Hamas and other affiliated Palestinian groups to avenge the attacks, unprecedented in their scale. One Israeli was killed in the rocket fire, medics said.
Taher al-Noono, a Hamas spokesman, described Israel's operation as a "massacre", adding: "However, our resolve cannot be dented and cannot be shaken. We will continue our struggle with absolute strength and steadfastness."
Gaza is densely populated. Palestine’s 1.5 million resident’s area already experiencing shortages in medicine, power and basic supplies due to 18 months of an Israeli blockade. The ceasefire expired on December 19, with Hamas arguing that Israel had violated the truce by preventing vital food and medical supplies into the Strip.
Hamas won control of the Palestinian Legislative Council in elections in January 2005. The international community refused to accept a Hamas-led government, demanding that the faction recognize Israel and renounce violence. Economic sanctions by the EU and US followed.
The international community has condemned the Israeli attacks, urging an immediate stop to violence in the region. Britain said Saturday that it was deeply concerned and called for "maximum restraint" from Israel.”
Now we have varying reports like always on casualties. Some media says mostly Hamas targets were hit and some say mostly civilians were hit. Wounded is anywhere in between 600-1500*, but over 300* dead is agreed on. This is maddening. I view Palestine as a prison country which is constantly denied basic human rights. It is no wonder they have lawlessness which attacks Israel with basic rockets which barely harm anything. Then Israel returns with bombers and advanced military? This is insanity. I do not know the answer to this problem in Israel-Palestine, but something needs to change before Palestine is wiped out in the future.
Israel already has admitted they are going to keep up this assault. I have yet to understand how rocket fire is terrorism while using advanced military rockets is always viewed as strategic. Terrorism is terrorism; any attack on unarmed civilians is a terrorist act. I doubt the Israeli government gives much of a dam which Palestinians are killed.
Updated 12/31/08:
"Israel resisted mounting international pressure Wednesday to suspend its devastating air offensive against militants in Hamas-ruled Gaza, sending more troops and tanks to the border as signs of an impending ground invasion multiplied. A long column of tanks and other army vehicles, two and three abreast, was strung out along an access road to Gaza. Dozens of tanks were parked in a rain-sodden field on the frontier.
Commanders were moving forward with preparations for a possible ground assault, said an Israeli defense official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the information.
Earlier this week the government approved the callup of more than 9,000 reserves soldiers.'
Israel has kept up the war and recently turned down a truce. Civilian casualties are unknown as the classification for what is considered an "evil" Hamas militant is unclear. I am not religious so Israel to me is lucky to exist because I do not view them as special people or any special rights to land. How the Palestinians have been treated sense the end of WW2 is disturbing. I am surprised the Palestinians survive as much as they do under such circumstances.
Hamas should probably stop randomly shooting rockets and save them for military targets this would give them more support world wide and put more of the spotlight on the Israeli's. A ground war into Palestine would definitely result in civilian oppression and death.
This struggle is getting old and cannot continue forever. Even if the Palestinians were free suddenly Israel has stolen so much land from them I do not know if they could be much of a country. I am sure they would take the chance then be under the rule of a foreign military who hates them.

Mumbai Attacks
When an International incident like the Mumbai attacks happens I usually give it time for the dust to settle to figure out what is going on. The dust has yet to really settle so here are my first impressions. Living in the USA makes information suspect especially when it comes from overseas. In Mumbai, India it appears gunmen of probable Pakistani origins carried out multiple violent attacks with bombs and gunmen.
“When the rampage began, gunmen opened fire at several locations throughout the city, including a crowded train station, a popular restaurant and several luxury hotels. The terrorists apparently sought victims with British or American passports. Attacks began on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 and ended Saturday, November 29, 2008. The locations attacked were:
1. Taj Mahal Palace and Tower
2. Hotel Oberoi
3. Cama Hospital
4. Trident Hotel
5. Ramada Hotel Mumbai
6. Cafe Leopold
7. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus
8. Nariman House
At least 195 people have died in the attacks, including 22 foreigners and six Americans. A formerly unknown group that calls itself the Deccan Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for the attacks.”
With even just this basic information people could let emotions cloud judgment on what happened. The group that claims responsibility could indeed just be a front group. This seems to have been a well planned attack. It seems too well done in fact to be done by some upstart group. There are many suspects. I of course do not believe Pakistan itself is responsible, but this could be used as an excuse for India to butt heads with it rival, maybe even start a war. Pakistan is in no state to start a war, but India is. Could the Indian military be responsible for the attacks? It is certainly a possibility, as well as CIA involvement as well. The first suspects in a terrorist attack should always be the government or a government that would benefit from the attacks. Then next on the list should be disgruntled religious and ethnic groups.
India does have a nuclear agreement with the USA which could anger its rivals and their disgruntled radical groups. Not to mention India’s rising power in Asia. The fact Americans, British, and Jews could have been targeted seems that the reasons behind the attacks could move away from anger towards India and more towards the west. Of course that could be their secondary goal while their first was to attack India. There are many possible variables and scenarios that could be the pre-text for this attack. Right now it is all assumption.
It appears CNN interviewed Deepak Chopra a famous Indian about the attack, but cut him off when he got too controversial. They cut him off after the following remarks:
“What we call "collateral damage" and going after the wrong people actually turns moderates into extremists, and that inflammation then gets organized and appears as this disaster in Bombay. Now the worst thing that could happen is there's a backlash on the Muslims from the fundamental Hindus in India, which then will perpetuate the problem. Inflammation will create more inflammation. ”Ultimately the message is always toward Washington because it's also the perception that Washington, in their way, directly or indirectly funds both sides of the war on terror. They fund our side, then our petrol dollars going to Saudi Arabia through Pakistan and ultimately these terrorist groups, which are very organized. You know Jonathan, it takes a lot of money to do this. It takes a lot of organization to do this. Where's the money coming from, you know? The money is coming from the vested interests. I'm not talking about conspiracy theories, but what happens is, our policies, our foreign policies, actually perpetuate this problem. Because, you know, 25% of the world's population is Muslim and they're the fastest growing segment of the population of the world. The more we alienate the Muslim population, the more the moderates are likely to become extremists.”
I can see why the State run media would cut him off after essentially telling people the truth about how Washington funds many different sides of the same war, not mention murders many on each side. He also has a point in how Hindu’s could retaliate against Muslims which would cause escalation. Leave it to the media to be too scared to pick his brain more or show it at least.
I will keep following this story to see what else comes up. This is going to be rough with the USA government “helping” with the investigation. Any information that comes out of the media needs to be treated with suspect. In conclusion I have no idea what the real story is and am not about to commit to any theory.
Another random point I need to make is as always the bad guys were armed and the victims were not. This is also another example of how police arrive too little too late. If you wish to stay alive then you need to be armed. Governments of course make this as difficult as possible so to make you dependent on their bad security services. It only takes a few armed people to kill many unarmed people. The bombs there is not much to do about except understand why someone would bomb people in the first place?!
Update: 12/2/08
A Mumbai Photographer wished he had a gun because police refused to fire.
"The gunmen were terrifyingly professional, making sure at least one of them was able to fire their rifle while the other reloaded. By the time he managed to capture the killer on camera, Mr D'Souza had already seen two gunmen calmly stroll across the station concourse shooting both civilians and policemen, many of whom, he said, were armed but did not fire back. "I first saw the gunmen outside the station," Mr D'Souza said. "With their rucksacks and Western clothes they looked like backpackers, not terrorists, but they were very heavily armed and clearly knew how to use their rifles."
"There were armed policemen hiding all around the station but none of them did anything," he said. "At one point, I ran up to them and told them to use their weapons. I said, 'Shoot them, they're sitting ducks!' but they just didn't shoot back."
Update 12/4/08:
The best theory so far I have heard is that radicals who are fighting American/Coalition forces in Afghanistan provoked problems between Pakistan and India which could explain why they also targeted Westerners and Jews. This would force Pakistan to move its forces away from radical cells on the Pakistani/Afghan border and move then to their border with India. This would free up groups to hide in Pakistan and attack American forces in Aghanistan easier.
This makes the most sense because it is a brilliant strategy if you are a Guerilla group.

Israel Continues to Victimize Palestine, Still Complaining about Pressure From U.N.
For more than two weeks now, Israel has been blocking any aid, including food and medical supplies, into the Gaza Strip, ratcheting up the mortally dangerous state of profound starvation and illness. Because of the continuing oppression of Palestine by Israel, the Palestinian people are not in a position to gain self-sufficiency in food production and development of medicines. So when the U.N. attempts to send aid, one would expect these supplies of food, medicine, and even fuel, to reach Gaza. Yet, Israel has been keeping the crossing points closed, officially citing Hamas rocket attacks as the reason, even falsely claiming those attacks to be too continuous to safely allow any crossing...even for aid.
Yesterday, according to this AFP article, 33 trucks were allowed access to Gaza, bearing a scant few days of supplies. Pressure from the United Nations is credited with this small victory, though it's obviously a reaction to potential negative publicity for Israel, not humanitarian reasons. And at this point, there's no way to know whether Israel will allow the next shipment of supplies into Gaza, or continue the "collective punishment" of an entire nation as inhuman retaliation for spurious rocket attacks by small factions within Gaza...who are simply reacting to Israel's constant U.S. backed terrorism. For more information on Israel's illegal, anti-human sequestration of Gaza, read Andrea Becker's article at Information Clearinghouse.
Of course, Israeli Press is responding to this in the usual fashion (read: indirectly), making Israel out to be the "victim" of the United Nations once again...by slanted articles regarding the United Nations General Assembly's promotion of International Day of Solidarity with Palestine (November 29), such as this story in Israel's Ha'aretz.
The Mainstream Media, being controlled by Corporations and Financial giants with Israeli interests, will not carry these reports to the masses in the United States or citizens of other Western nations. It's up to us to continue getting this information out. Spread the word!

End the Fed
If you really want to start saving this thing called the economy the best place to start is the manipulator of said economy called the Federal Reserve. If I were free I would not care about money, but let us make some baby steps and at least allow people to trade how they want.
The Federal Reserve act was written by bankers and with the help of their political allies including Woodrow Wilson who got it passed essentially enslaving a nation of people called Americans to inflation, debt, and monetary slavery. I can never figure out how people attack monopolies and the idea of a monopoly yet support a monopoly having control of what you are allowed to trade in. This goes for all countries that are using a central bank and fiat money. How a society of people can allow a small group to control their livelihoods and restrict how they can trade baffles the mind. These oligarchies of people essentially manipulate the money and the economy to benefit the few well connected people at the top who scheme with them and rob everyone else slowly over time.
In the USA for example the dollar has lost 95% of its value sense the Federal Reserve was created. When people see prices rise they assume greedy businesses are overcharging and raising prices. When in fact businesses have been making items cheaper, but then why are prices so much higher then 90 years ago? Simply the Federal Reserve de-values money slowly overtime and price adjustments are made to reflect how many Federal Reserve notes you need to purchase a product.
Minimum wage for example is useless because it is not businesses fault the central bank destroys the value of money and it takes time to adjust for inflation. In reality before the Fed was created $7 an hour would be a huge sum of money. Of course corporations are not innocent in this matter sense they are beneficiaries of the easy money policies and they have no problem participating to make their lives better at the expense of others. Also corporations were created and prospered artificially with government regulations and laws. The trust buster Teddy Roosevelt for example was owned by J.P. Morgan and their trust busting laws are used to destroy businesses that are not part of the slave scheme.
The only solution is freedom actually it is always my solution. People should trade however they want whether it be gold or barter. By allowing only a certain kind of trade you set the world up for slavery and corruption which of course is the point. Everything revolves around the slave money which of course makes everyone desire it sense you cannot even live on land without it. The population is manipulated into the belief this is the only thing worthy to trade in and you need it, as much of it as possible. You also need to step on others to get your share which of course is a divide and conquer technique. People do not need to be told how to participate in free exchange because it is a natural process. People traded freely and even created money without elites and governments. Elites throughout history hijacked trade and money in order to gain power and enslave the masses. People are given no choice of how to trade and then of course inflation makes it seem like no amount of money is enough which is one of many catalysts for rampant greed.
Money of course cannot be blamed for greed anymore then a gun for murder. It is all indoctrination and coercion that causes massive greed and obsessive competition for pieces of paper. It is the mindset of the population that allows itself to be enslaved. If you did not need this one kind of money and could work things out freely then money would be of less importance for survival and more just to make trade easier if you wish.
The best way in my opinion to destroy the Federal Reserve would be to open it to competition. It is a highly disorganized institution and would go under in no time. I imagine the elites plan is to do the opposite and create a tighter monopoly maybe over multiple countries and then the world. This will fail of course. No one can plan economies or monetary policy over the long term it is impossible. The human minds whether individually or collectively cannot plan economies because it is too complex. There are too many variables and individual exchanges. The elite will not fall to guns they will fall to their own ignorance.

Despite Our Mission, Don't Forget To Breathe
This is from a post on my own blog...I was compelled to share it here as well.
Those of us making our best efforts to awaken everyone around us to the deep deception and control that permeates EVERYTHING we know are no less susceptible to stressing out than the sleepers are. In fact, I'd say we have a greater load to bear, because on top of many of the basic concerns that the uninformed have...we have also taken on the yoke of responsibility to inform them.
And it IS very stressful. We continue to gather REAL information, shunning the mainstream media in all its forms (except to see what kind of propaganda they're spewing at a given time) so we can expose the anti-human legislation, business dealings, and governance of the AMORAL leaders...and it's not just here in the United States. It's EVERYWHERE. Each day, we deepen our understanding of the whole rotting, stinking mess, coming to terms with the fact that very little of what we've always known is REAL. It's a massive head trip on the most basic human level.
But we are not superhuman, unfortunately. From time to time, we have to stagger back and take in the enormity of the task we've engaged ourselves in...and it DEMANDS occasional emotional release. And we begin feeling remorse even as we emote; incorrectly labeling ourselves weak, inefficient, inconsequential. We also feel trapped in the system, longing to get up, get out, get away...SOMEWHERE. It's a CATCH-22 if ever there was one. We remain in our various situations, knowing the hideous truth, only because getting the message to others requires it.
Then, of course, we're faced with the nebulous time factor. We realize that the longer we remain in the system, the harder it is to get out...especially since we cannot even approximate how long before flight is not an option. And none of us can even answer the question of "how long?" for ourselves as individuals, to say nothing of trying to help each other decide.
All I can say for sure is this: When the anger, frustration, fear, sadness, hopelessness, and all of those other visceral emotions well up...LET THEM COME because a given emotion only stays when you refuse to let it go. Our mission does not exempt us from the balancing nature of our spirits, and no one, including yourself, is served by denying the need for release.

Take My Hand
I was trying to think of what to write for my first post on this blog. I had many items on my mind, but I realized none of them were good enough. I can write many rational arguments about things, but instead let us just talk.
There are many problems with the world that it is easy to get side tracked at disagreements on individual stances. It is easy to lose focus on the entire system that pits us against one another. The system is the problem. I see people argue about welfare and other government assistance for example. The welfare system is a product of the overall destructive system in place. Instead of saying oh wow look at this scumbag leaching off of me we should be thinking of wow what kind of system even makes it possible that makes people completely dependent upon money and pieces of paper to survive in this world? What kind of system exists that makes people dependent on uncaring bureaucrats?
There are many examples of this kind of issue. We get so side tracked on smaller issues that we lose focus. I am guilty of this as well. I for instance am an anarchist, but that is the least important thing to prove to people at this stage in the game. The system in place is killing people, destroying lives, robbing our future, and makes people completely dependent and weak. This is all done on purpose from what I can see.
People are kept separated and isolated into very small groups to keep them in fear and feel alone. Fearful people are easy to manipulate and control. We are bombarded with so many issues and problems that should not exist. Many of the problems in society are caused by the top of the pyramid scheme we all live under. No matter how much any of us thinks about this there will be times when we forget and get side tracked, but it is vital that we always make it back on track and keep marching forward. Do not allow yourself to fall into disarray and wander off. Do not spiral off onto the path of anger or emotions. We must all stay the course and keep marching forward.
Stop and discuss and even argue some, but do not stray from the path. Keep picking one another up and forgive. The world is in need of love, forgiveness, and understanding. The world needs less of everyone thinking they are personally right about everything and selfish beliefs.
You are not alone and neither am I. I may not agree with you, but I will not judge you. Take my hand and let us stay on the path to exposing the system that is making life miserable not just for you or me, but for everyone.

The Palestinian Authority - Palestinian Authority (PA) - was established in 1994 as a result of the Oslo accords between the PLO and Israel. PA was originally conceived as a five-year transitional authority until peace and Palestinian statehood would be achieved. In 1996, PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat elected president of the Palestinian territories after the democratic elections for president and the Palestinian Legislative Council - Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC). After Arafat's death in November 2004 held elections for president on 9 January 2005, when Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) was elected president with the backing of 62.3% of the votes cast. In the last general election - held on 25 January 2006 - won the Islamist movement Hamas 74 out of the PLC's 132 seats. The previously dominant Fatah party had to be content with 45 seats. Hamas formed the then government of Ismail Haniyyeh as prime minister. On 17 March 2007 - after one year with an international boycott, massive Israeli military operations and violent internal fighting - formed a national unity government with ministers from Hamas, Fatah and other political factions. But since Hamas in mid-June 2007 gennemf'rte violent takeover of Gaza elected President Abbas, 16 June to declare a state of emergency and appoint tenkokratisk under former Minister of Finance nødregering Salam Fayyad leadership.
The domestic and international political situation:
"Middle East Quartet" defined in March 2006 three principles, as the then Hamas-led government had to fulfill if it would work with the international community, including recognition of Israel, condemning terror and acceptance of existing PLO agreements. Because the assessment was that the Hamas government since the national unity is not - fully - fulfilled requirements imposed by the international community - including the U.S. and EU - PA-government economic and political sanctions. Since the parliamentary elections in January 2006, the situation in the Palestinian territories has been marked by growing confrontation between Hamas and Fatah. There has since October 2006 been five violent security crises in Gaza, there have been more bloody because every time. The development culminated in mid-June 2007, when Hamas during the two-three violent days came to power in Gaza. In light of the Hamas coup sacked President Abbas assembly and the government declared martial law, 14 June 2007. Three days later deployed a nødregering president of the independent Prime Minister Salam Fayyad (also until further acts as the Finance and Foreign Affairs). The international community lifted immediately after the sanctions against the PA and Israel have also expressed intentions to support nødregeringen. Gaza and the West is now politically divided from each other. Salam Fayyad has announced that nødregeringens main priorities are economic recovery and improvement in the security situation in the West Bank. It is expected campaign against the unofficial militias in the West Bank, which could result in significant turmoil. The situation in Gaza has so far been relatively calm, although there also can be expected unrest in the coming tid.I November 2006, most Palestinian factions, including Hamas, a cease-fire with Israel in Gaza. Israel did not want to extend the ceasefire to include the West Bank. There have been frequent breaches of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, including Palestinian missile delivery and Israeli military operations, like the continuing Israeli military operations in the West Bank has affected the situation in Gaza. In addition, Israel continues to withhold comprehensive Palestinian customs and tax revenues, which until 2006 accounted for almost half of the PA's budget - which is the primary cause of the current deep socio-economic crisis in the Palestinian territories. Nevertheless, Israel has expressed willingness to transfer the collected revenues to nødregeringen. Finally, the illegal expansion of Israeli settlements in the West (particularly in East Jerusalem), construction of the security barrier and the significant restrictions on Palestinians' freedom of movement in the West (through checkpoints and barriers) and to / from Gaza. It is still difficult to predict how the Palestinian rift and the New nødregering will affect the prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
Human rights:
In light of the miserable conditions of security and the humanitarian crisis, the human rights situation in the Palestinian territories also deteriorated in the past year. The Israeli occupying continuously criticized for widespread violations of Palestinian human rights, including but not illegal husnedrivelser, restrictions on freedom of movement, administrative detentions, criticized prison conditions and collective punishments. The Palestinian authorities also criticized for human rights violations, including the use of torture, dubious legal circumstances, restrictions on freedom of association and discrimination against women. There is hope that nødregeringen could improve the human rights situation internally in the West Bank.
The socio-economic situation:
UNRWA estimates that the humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territories is worse than ever. In 2006, GDP fell by almost 10 percent. The current per capita income is only 60 percent. the 1999 level. In Gaza, claiming 21 percent. of households that have no income. Unemployment is above 30 percent. (and nearly 50 percent. in Gaza), which would have been even higher if not PA had employed thousands in the second half of 2006 (44 per cent. of all employees in Gaza is now employed by the PA). The humanitarian consequences are significant: More than 65 percent. of Palestinians live in poverty, a third suffer from "food insecurity" and more than 10,000 Palestinians have emigrated in recent years (and more than 50,000 estimated to be about to leave the Gaza / West Bank). In Gaza, 1.1 million. inhabitants (out of a total of 1.4 million.) dependent on direct relief.

The overall objective of Danish transitional assistance to Gaza and the West Bank is to contribute to the autonomous Palestinian areas social and economic development and thereby providing support for the Middle East peace process. The bilateral transitional assistance will focus on 1) municipal development in Gaza and the northern West Bank, 2) promoting democracy, human rights and good governance and 3) contribution to the creation of intercultural dialogue and tolerance.
